Damn you Wikipedia! Damn you for raising the hopes of millions of planeteers — only to see such expectations burst. As we broke earlier last week, a little blurb found on the Wikipedia entry for Captain Planet made mention of “live-action movie currently in development and slated for a 2009 release.”
